We take pride in the products we make and the ingredients we use in our products. Our main focus is to provide all natural items that will benefit your skin and your health. We love receiving feedback from our customers! Hearing how our products have made their skin softer or has helped relieve a skin condition … that puts a smile on our faces!
We are proud of the fact that the goat milk and herbs we use are right from our farm! Our goats are fed organic feed and the herbs are grown chemical free and we only use all natural fertilizers. The honey and beeswax we use in products comes from an organic local farm.
We make our soaps using the Cold Process (CP). This process of soap making is by scratch using oils and lye. I love the Cold Process method the most. Using this method gives a great smooth looking bar that is a hard and long lasting bar with incredible lather and very moisturizing.
Some Ingredients We Use…
Goat Milk: The goat milk in our products come straight from our farm! Goat’s milk in soap delays signs of skin aging due to the great amount of alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid. This acids break down and removes dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. Goat’s milk diminishes skin inflammation due to its fat molecule content because it works as a moisturizer to sooth dry and damaged skin, providing an anti-inflammatory effect.
Goat’s milk is filled with essential nutrients and vitamins like vitamin D, C, B1, B6, B12, and E that nourishes the skin and is effective for treating acne and skin conditions. This is primarily because goat’s milk has anti-bacterial components that suspend the growth of microbial.
Tallow: Though many say using tallow for soap is cruel … I have never seen a cow butchered for tallow alone! Tallow is the rendered fat of animals. Cow’s are butchered for their meat and using the tallow is not letting a part of the animal go to waste.
Anyway, lets talk about the benefits of tallow. Tallow makes your soap super-white and give it a creamy and stable lather. It also makes a soap that is very moisturizing and gentle to your skin. Soaps made with tallow are a gentle cleaner that does not clog pores and are good for your skin. If someone tells you that soaps made from tallow are harsh and bad for your skin, this is definitely not true. These rumors are usually made to promote all vegetable soaps.
Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is an effective moisturizer that is beneficial in restoring dry or scaly skin. While your typical store bought soaps and lotions consist of a lot of water and probable synthetic ingredients, coconut oil helps to strengthen skin tissue and remove dead skin cells while absorbing quickly into your skin.
Coconut oil also contains antioxidant Vitamin E, known to protect skin cells from damage that occurs over time. The Vitamin E found in Coconut Oil can calm eczema, sunburn and psoriasis. Coconut Oil also contains antiviral and antifungal advantages because of the three fatty acids found in Coconut Oil such as capric, lauric and caprylic acids. Coconut Oil also kills off any surface bacteria.
Shea Butter: Shea butter derives from nuts of the shea tree from West Africa. Shea Butter is usually used in natural skin care products. Filled with all natural vitamin A, raw shea butter helps with many skin conditions because raw shea butter is exceptionally moisturizing and hydrating when applied to the skin and it provides immediate softness and makes your skin feel so smooth.
Olive Oil: Olive oil can also be used in soaps and has anti-aging benefits because it helps restore the smoothness of the skin and may help protect the skin from premature aging. Hydroxytyrosol which is found in olive oil prevents free radical damage to the skin. Olive oil is a gentle moisturizer for dry skin as well as good for oily skin too. A great thing about olive oil is it will not clog pore. Instead it gives a deep cleanse to your pores.
Sweet Almond Oil is enhanced with Vitamins A and E, which are great for skin health. It can be used to treat severe skin infections like psoriasis and eczema. Sweet Almond Oil is a natural remedy for chapped, wrinkle and dry skin.
Essential Oils: Essential Oils (EO) do more than just make your soaps smell good. Many of the Essential Oils that we put into our soaps will help soothe, repair, heal and disinfect as well.
